Mustafa Kamal

A Chartered Accountant by qualification and a leader by practice, Mustafa Kamal has built a career at the highest levels of Pakistan’s finance and energy sectors. Over two decades, he rose from Ernst & Young through successive leadership roles at K-Electric — serving eight functions as Director Business Finance — to CFO of a Saudi Aramco JV.
He has managed billion-dollar infrastructure projects, led enterprise transformations, mentored hundreds of professionals, and published three books — all while building Engenius from the ground up.

Storyline

Began career at Ernst & Young Ford Rhodes — audit, assurance, and a secondment to EY Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Qualified as a Chartered Accountant (FCA) from ICAP on first attempt — a foundation built on discipline.

Joined K-Electric. Began a thirteen-year journey through one of Pakistan’s most complex energy organisations.

Led KE’s $500M transmission expansion with Siemens AG and Shanghai Electric — adding 1,000 MVA of grid capacity.

Promoted to Deputy Director, then Director Business Finance — heading eight functions, reporting to CFO and Private Equity management.

Founded Engenius Consulting. Graduated from Stanford Seed Spark — an entrepreneurship program.

Appointed CFO for a Saudi Aramco JV. Led finance, digital transformation, and governance.

Author of three published titles. Founder of Engenius and lead strategy of V2F Solutions, a technology firm. Building what comes next.
